Whoooaaa, Nelly!

There's a new doxie in town, and by town I mean Schaumburg, IL. I have confirmed reports that the Valios have boarded the wiener-train with the addition of Nelly the mini-dox. Here is a clip from Ed's announcement:
long story short, my stepsister and her husband found a runaway mini-dachshund and after months of looking for the owner, they finally just kept her. three mini-dachshunds is apparently a lot, so she's now taken up residence with us. Less than six pounds and probably shorter than my forearm, and to top it all off she'll play fetch until you're too tired to throw anymore. now i just have to teach her to sit up like bo.

October Dachshund Meetup

It's that time of the month again! I get to go to the dog park and play with all of my wiener friends. We get together once a month and hang out like only hot dogs can. We run around, bark, play with each other, and chase things. The best part is that someone always brings some kind of treats that we love.

Here are some of the pictures of my friends in their Halloween costumes. For the complete collection of pictures, go to My Sony Imagestation Album

Brodie Comes to Visit

This weekend my friend Brodie is staying over. We've been hanging out during the day keeping each other company. On Friday we went outside to lay in the sun and bark at the dogs walking three stories under us. We don't know why we bark, but they had it comin'. We also got some good barking at a truck that thought it would drive by unnoticed. Little did they know that we were on to them. Brodie is fun, and we get along, as long as we don't have to share chewies. :) I love chewies.

Hallo-weenie!

Need I say more? This was my chance to go to the park and really show off my new Darth Vader costume. I think that I pulled it off nicely. I was a hit with all of the parents and kids. I even made a few new doggie friends.

The top picture is me all dressed up and ready to go trick-or-treating. If you look at the bottom picture, there was a boy at the park who was also wearing a Darth Vader costume. He thought I was cool.

Hello!

Ladies, Gentlemen, and Wienerdogs,
Welcome to my corner of cyberspace where you will find extraordinarily useful information about dachshunds, bones, treats, food, and the world as I see it (about 8" off the ground). There will be pictures, opinions, and a log of my daily travels. So please come back as often as you like, I am, after all, a pack animal.

:) Bark, bark.
